I went to Riverside Infiniti and test drove a FX50S today. And yeah... here are my thoughts...
1. Love the acceleration on this beast... it's got so much power and the power comes sooooooooooooooooo smooth and linear from it's massive 5.0 liter engine.
2. Brake.... I don't really like it. It has the same Akebonos that I have on my G35..., but since this beast is so freaking heavy, they just do not work as efficiently as on my G. I can't complain too much here... can I? lol
3. Exterior, IMO, is soooooooooooooooo mean looking especially in black. It also comes with Enkei wheels (something I just happened to notice). It did carry over many lines from the previous gen FX's, but, again IMO, it looks 10X better.... in person.
4. Interior is less than impressive. I still hate the damn head liner... the cheap shizzle that is widely used even on the Nissan Sentras. Leather quality is pretty nice and I have no complains about it. The wood int. trim is... ehhhh, but the seats are pretty similar to the ones from my G35. Something like 16 way adjustable? Not bad in my book. Still, overall interior is somewhat disappointing... I feel that it still lack of something.
That's about it... I've only driven it for less than 10 minutes so I can't really give you a thorough review. But yes, go and test drive one, and you'll fall in love with it... hahahahaha
