California Tint

I recently went to CA tint in Rosemead to tint my new 6spd. I got there at 10:30am and the guy said it would take till 6pm to remove the old tint on the back windows and then put new tint (even if I was the first in line). I was shocked, can anyone confirm this? Thanks, I plan to go back soon.

Cal Tint....Santa Clarita.

Apparently he didn't want to do the job, it takes at the very most 15 minutes
to carefully remove the tint from the back window so an hour total for the job. I know the guys at Cal Tint by me they don't operate like that, a job is
exactly that, a job....get er done!

Did you go on a weekend? Maybe they were busy that day.

They usually have pending cars from over night

try again on the weekDAY..

Gary it takes about a good hour to do the front two alone.. the back with the defrosters will take even longer.. You need to COMPLETELY clean up the tint before applying new tint

Edit: tell him Eric from surfacemodz sent you for a good price

They do great work, i had 35% tint done somewhere else and i took it to CA tint to take of the 35% and put in 20% all around. He told me to remove the tint in the back he had to use a special spray to remove the tint he said just pulling off the tint like that might damage the defrosters. i had my car there for around 3 hours but it was worth it they did a GREAT job.

They get very busy in the summer. Last summer I had my accord done there, waited for them to open up on a sunday morning, still took 3-4 hours becuase there were cars from day before. So this year when I got my G, I went there in during the slower season January.

Only thing i have noticed is the matrix dots arent completely done correct. So hopefully that fixes itself after it dries out more in the next couple of days.

Don't count on it. The matrix dots won't change much from what you see right now, may just disappear a tiny bit. From my experience of last 2 cars done at california tint. But nevertheless, they do good work!

Eric, I was refering to removal 15 minutes of the rear window tint and an hour
to complete the job. (new tint)
