You can find the 1MZFE in: ES300, Gen1-1.5 Solara, Toyota Sienna, RX300, Gen 4-4.5 Camry. The ES300 and RX300 both have VVTI heads, so if you go that route, get their ECU's. TRD supercharger for 1MZFE is no longer made, gotta search around for one. Expect $1500 including install kit.
3rd Gen 3sgte is JDM only, 2nd Gen 3sgte you find in MR2's, Celica All-Trac (AWD tho, dunno it's a direct swap).

Does you/your neighbor still have that mk1 mr2?

^^ has that been done before? I don't know of any transverse mounted V8's.

"MR2" is an acronym. Mid Engine, Rear Wheel Drive, 2 seater.
