Jackie, please, please meditate for about 15 minutes. You need to turn the rotor to where there is an opening behind a stud. Hammer it a couple times using a heavy hammer. It should fall out. I counted, mine fell out in 6-7 hits each one. Insert new one, use a bolt/washer and lug and pull the new one threw, but becareful. If you have no experience you could mess some **** up. If you wanna drive to laguna hills I can do it for you tomorrow. Would only take about an hour to put your car on the lift and pull them through. PM me if you want to.

alright im calm now..

but let me show you what i mean

this is when the rotor is off and the lugs are showing

everything in the drawing is EXACtly what it looks like

and is there some way of turning the rear wheel? does is have to be in park? no ebrake? seems to me that the rear wheel doesnt move at all

and even if i could move the wheel, theres no opening behind ANY of the lugs where i could take out em out
jeez this is fail.

In neutral, no e-brake. You need to spin the hub, (part holding studs). Find an opening some where between the e-brake, I think on the sides, next to the pads (sorry no pics). Hammer that ****, there is room behind it. You took the rotor off right? You shouldn't see a rotor only a hub (star shape with 5 studs). ???

ill admit there probably is room to take it out but putting in a longer stud?

lol, common sense aint common, so in quick, where teh stud comes out, teh new longer one goes in. Basically put it in space, angle it up, have the hole high up, and as you spin the hub down, lightly wiggle the new one in. Woola! Good luck, im the only idiot still responding to this thread.

This thread is cray-zeh! Okay, so the hubs don't have to be removed to get the original studs out? Am I understanding that correctly? That's great! But could hammering the heck out of the studs actually put lateral runout in the hub?

Jackie, I hope you eventually got the setup you were looking for. There's no feeling like screwing with stuff and then thinking you actually screwed it up. I get this feeling that my heart dropped down to my stomach (and money just left my wallet).
