drive down to vegas

Planning to drive down to vegas in a couple weeks, i have a couple questions since i dun usually drive that far. Do you guys tape up the front end? and are there a lot of potholes on the freeway? Do you let ur car cool down (how often)?

ive never taken my Z down there so i was never really that aware of potholes since it wasnt my car haha. But, from what i could remember, there arent many you really have to worry about. If i were to take MY car, i would personally tape up my front end. Also, im pretty sure you wont drive non stop the whole way there so i guess gas stops, bathroom stops, snack stops, etc would be considered cooling your vehicle down but you shouldnt NEED to pull over just to cool your vehicle down unless you have over heating problems or something.

If u have perfect paint in the front, then yes tape the front
No potholes
LOL at cooling comment. Freeway/high-speed driving is one of the easiest and non-demanding things that ur car can do even 3-4 hours non-stop.

I wasted a lot of gas but I was in a rush. I took the truck lane too haha thankfully no cops. And I trailed a big rig going 90 which was funny cause everyone moved out of his way.
