There has been a rash of car break-ins in the UTC area, and out in Hillcrest as well that I was told about in the past 2 weeks. In my complex alone I know of three cars broken into within the past week. They seem to be after navigation systems, radar detectors, and any loose electronics. One person I know of had their garage door opener stolen so now they can get in anytime they want. So please take off any of your gear out of your car when you park it at night.

 

oh yeah and they broke into my ride (FX35) this weekend.. ****'s took my damn xm radio, check book, flash light.. oh well im moving next month anyways.. and im installing a aftermarket alarm in my car sometime soon..

sucks. mission valley has been extremely quiet. I'm glad my parking is gated.

That's come bull****. I hate people who steal. They need to find their lazy A$$ a job.

 

Actually one of my school friends that lives in downtown had his car broken into about 1 month or 2 ago. He has a secured/gated parking spot too.

 

I live in a gated area too. Gates dont mean anything.

 

i park my G in a garage but my neighbors SI just got stolen last month with his garage door down O_O someone must have cracked our codes goddamm it

 

+1 for mission valley ... havent seen to many issues in the area
