Caliper powder coating

Want to get my BBK custom powdercoated yellow with black lettering. Anyone have experience with a shop that knows what they are doing? I prefer the ones that take off all components and rebuilds for you....I'm not looking to rebuild myself. Socal perferred obviously.

I know there is a shop in Monterey Park, http://fastforwardwheels.com ...anyone have experiences with them? IT doesnt mention powdercoating....I'm not sure if they do a paint + bake process or it is in fact powdercoating. Also, if you recommend a shop, can you tell me a price range?

There is a guy that specializes in wilwoods, http://www.onadimepbs.com but he's in Alabama and he charges a grip ($400 for all four).

I thought about getting the G2 kit and just getting a sprayer and getting that knocked out myself. Being a true BBK owner (not cheapo stock calipers), I can't see myself DIYing, I'm really scared that I am going to waste my time and energy for a crappy job. So plesae, someone help me get this dream going!

I like the yellow, that would look dope. Definitely get a pro to do it, as you said this is not a DIY job. Maybe bigc can point you in the right direction, he had his Rotoras custom powder coated.

I got a place in Chino that did my strut bar brackets. They did a nice job and do lots of work on show cars. They also kinda owe me a favor so they will probably give you a nice deal. PM me if you want the info.

hey marcus, I'm also gonna get that gap between the contact points on the rotors and the hat painted. will probably just do that myself. Remember we were talking about that?

onadimepbs did that for their customer. same kit that we have

Its doubtful that you will find a shop that will dismantle and powered coat... you will find a place that will take it apart and send it out then put back together (but then your paying a middle man just to send to powder coat - they will add their mark-up).

For powder coating I use Nu Tech in Anaheim (near 91 & 55, actually Kramer) - I've had several things powder coated by them and have been very satisfied.

If interested ask for Mike Kent: 714-632-5045

Very nice, my gap next to the rotor hat looks pretty bad right now, but I've got other things I need to do first on my car. I've always wondered why my rotor hat is a purplish color and not black like yours, since we both have the factory Wilwood kit. Even my wife noticed the other day, and she doesn't give a crap about cars!
