Anodizing is for Volk 2 piece wheels (w/ polish lip). I double checked on some other forums. Some people say they are painted from Volk. Some say they are powdercoated from Volk. It's a toss up people =)

You can powdercoat forged wheels much easier than cast wheels. Cast wheels are more prone to outgassing and showing imperfections in the coat.

Yes, take the tires off.

I have a quote for $45 a wheel, including sand blasting.
