Be careful up there. There are a lot of bicyclist and joggers on the weekends.

damn...carlos was up there this past sunday. he wants to go this cumming sunday. hopefully no one is up there after 1600 hrs.

Man.. I used to go take my gixxer up to GMR on the weekends when I was back in college (2002~2003). I had a lot of close calls with random cars on the road. Pretty dangerous with so many blind corners. However, I have to admit they got some crazy hairpins and twisties that you cannot find in many areas. I remember if you went there during weeks around afternoon, the roads would be pretty much be empty. But it gets pretty crowded on the weekends with array of exotic bikes and cars. One of the greatest things about GMR is that the roads are kept relatively clean w/o much debris or deterioration. I hear there are a lot of popo's there nowadays though.

So definitely have FUN but be extra CAREFUL out there!

you forgot to mention the crazy grade, and the turns that have banking
