Wow...they must be bored if they are driving into parking lots looking for something to do. I'd fight it.

don't even bother. i've already spent about 200 bux on fvckin no front plate tix all over LA;

one time i parked at LAX and some cop on a bike wrote me up while my car was parked!!

if you try and fight it, they will keep sending you late notices and your fine will keep increasing.

That sucks

Don't think fighting it will do any good but waste more of your time.

I would be furious if a cop had the courage to give a parked car a fix it ticket for something as senseless as a plate or tints. Shows you how great they are at putting their resources to work.

I was always under the impression that a cop can't give you something like a fix it ticket when the car is parked. And also, shouldn't you have to sign the ticket before its issued?

I work at UCLA and saw the same thing happen to my co-worker. After work, we were both walking to our cars and noticed he had a ticket. Seems like they noticed no front license plates and wrote him up while we were working. Man he was ticked off, but paid the fine and put his front plates on.
