Just curious, what are you trying to do with the throttle body? It’s a very sensitive part that won't work if you screw around with it or even simply touch the butterfly mechanism.

I did a quick search on eBay and there were a bunch to choose from.

its going to be an adventour idk how long it will take or how difficult the butterfly will be to make in a slightly bigger size to fit the bored out housing but i cant wait to see if everything works out good and theres no problems ill be able to do it for other people

sounds like you are trying to replicate this product

Problem is, you will have idling issues. You will need to adjust your idle RPM.

What would be a better idea.... take a Stainless Steel thick gauge tube that is of the desired (bigger than oem) opening. Then make a box to hold the oem TB motor and sensors. Then incorporate the two together. Then you can make an appropiate TB butterfly. Should work exactly the same as the OEM TB but w/a bigger TB tube. Also, keep in mind, i believe the oem TB has a bigger inlet than outlet to produce a venturi effect.

Someone already made a Bored to the max OEM TB and used a Ford Lightning MAF sensor housing and some fat *** tube as an intake tube. He obviously got a greater mass of air coming into the intake manifold, but the bigger intake decreases the velocity of the moving air. Thus the MAF sensor believes that less air is coming in (because it hasnt been recalibrated to the bigger intake tubing). So the MAF sensor voltage will need to be lowered. Dont ask me how they did that, but i have a feeling a tuning shop can do it.

I was going to do what you are planning on doing about a year ago, and bought a new TB. I never got around to it, so if you wanna put a new one on your car and **** with your old one, pm me. I'll sell you my new one.
