ok so i have the stock g35 sedan 04 17 inch wheels on my car and im poor so i cant afford new wheels right now. so what kind of tires do you guys think i should put on these and what sizes can i fit? i know they are a 17x7.5 which sucks but its my only option right now and i need tires very soon preferably something sticky since every turn i take now is sideways so any info you guys have on a good tire for me is much appreciated

Dont go with the Hankook Ventus. I have them on now and can get the slip light to turn on without a problem with VDC off. I don't feel in control of my car all the time either, especially around the turns...then again I take turns a bit faster than needed...ex: freeway exit says 25, I go almost 60....of course this is when there is no one on the roads since its laaaaate at night and I know the turn quite well.

I used to have Falken FK-452 on my 20's and I liked them. Gripped much better. Other than that I don't have too much experience as some of the other guys here

You can run 235's max on the stock 17's. Get the vreidenstein sessantas. super sticky on the streets. Or you could just buy my 19 inch rims and tires for 1050, haha.

Saying "dont go with hankook ventus" is like saying "don't go with nissan" or "don't get the sony"

That's too generic of a statement since Ventus is just a line of tires, not a specific model.

As for tires, since you run 17's and want something sticky, how bout you consider these:

Bridgestone Potenza RE11
Yokohama Advan AD08
Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec
Nitto NT05
Federal 595 RS-R
Kumho Ecsta XS

98% of the guys here will have no idea what these tires are, but if you're looking for the stickiest street tires money can buy, then these are it.

If you want even sticker, LMK and I can recommend some r-comps for you.

Btw, these tires are sticky enough that you will NOT be chirping 2nd gear in a 6MT without seriously abusing your car.
