What screwed up day

7:00 blew rear tire on the 405
7:15 realize I don't have lug wrench
call AAA and get the tire changed.
8:am call GLobal tires but Raul is not in yet.
9:00 drop by global and purchase 2 rears michelin pilots but my blown tire does not want to leave the rim. so it takes them about 30 minutes just to take the tire off so I was there close to 1 1/2 hours and once I leave I notice a MAJOR rub on the rear. so I call R&J and ask to borrow their shop(they are at their day job) so I go to town on the rear lip with heat gun and hammer. I was wearing dress clothes that is not good for doing mechanical work so my pants rip, get majorly dirty and miss work all the while my Boss is calling me for information on my cases that he supposedly concerned about but in reality is trying to settle and back door my settlements.

thanks for allowing me to rant

sorry about your day, I'm interested in hearing about where the pants ripped exactly. Crotch area or **** crack area?

What was rubbing in the rear, were you using heatgun and hammer on your wheels or what? That sounds scary as hell!!!

Glad you're okay though man, blow outs can cause major accidents.

Crotch area allowing my thongs to show.

the lip was rubbing BAD on the tires. So I heated the lip with the heat gun and pounded away on the lip till it was flat and it can get scary since it's my 1st time doing this. but since I now have experience I should offer my services like Shane.

Already got the car to the point of being able to roll....just need to work on the Fender roll a little more.

next time I will keep a closer eye on my tires...the one that blew had a 4 inch hole in it.

why not get your fenders rolled or at least use a pipe not a hammer? you almost definitely chipped your paint didn't you? and did they replace it w/ the same size tire?
