So about this time last year i was playing in one of my soccer games. I was sprinting for the ball when i tried cutting the defender and my side of my knee popped.... I didn't do any physical activities for a few months and started playing basketball and it happened again. Just this past april once again i was playing in a soccer game when i started sprinting and once again the same story as how it started. So now i'm scheduled for knee surgery acl reconstruction this thursday. July 9th. Just got my g back from a collision, so basically i only got to drive it for a few days and now it's going to be parked on my driveway. As soon as i'm back to normal i'll be seeing you guys at a couple of meets.

 

That sucks man. I've learned the hard way that the human body is not designed to heal back to 100% from an injury. Each injury takes away a percent or more or less.
I've had both of my ankles replaced btw. I'll never walk normal again, and have to take a wheelchair to places where I know I would be standing for long periods of time (shortcuts at disneyland!).
But I would say maybe it's best for you to look into other non physical hobbies. Your knee will never be like it was 10 years ago. Keep playing sports and your bound be under the blade again sometime.....

 

Good luck with the surgery. Do everything the Dr. says and you'll be back in the Driver seat in no time.

When I bought my G I ordered it, it took 4 months to get and I was so excited. It was delivered on a Thurs. and the following Mon. I had foot surgery. It sucked so bad having this brand new car sitting in the garage and having to hobble past it to drive my husbands company Intrepid! My car and my Jeep are manual and that crappy Intrepid was the only auto. You will appreciate your car so much more when you finally get to drive again.
