I recently got my car totalled. I test drove a z, rx-8, g35 coupe. z was good but too selfish (2 seater). rx-8 was dissapointing in acceleration. g35 was perfect. I just need help looking for the best deals out there. Ill take any advice b4 going to the dealer for a purchase.

 

one advice... if you can wait for the 05's then do. they will be the refreshed versions... will come stock with 19"s... thats the real MAJOR difference...
and also, if youre into navigation, dont hesitate to get it. alot of people here regret not getting it... theres VPP pricing available, whatever that means. look into it i guess, its some discount.

'05 do not come with stock 19's. Its optional on upper model 6MT ONLY with 15hp more. You might be able to place order already on '05, BUT may not be available til late december or early next year. IF you dont mind the wait and spending more$ dont go for '05. I suggest buy '04, since you've already test drove one and like it, and then buy the aftermarket 19" or 20" rims you like. You may not like the stock 19's on '05.

Yeah I know there is only 1 6mt. Meant to state and assumed 6mt was an " upper model " from 5AT's only, since its got more more available features/options ( brembo's, 19's ). Just stating to original poster that 19's are not stock to all models from what I've read: " 19-inch forged aluminum-alloy wheels in optional Sport trim ". What ever that means.

Damm, did'nt know it was available in 5AT's. Guess I was reading old news. So added 15hp in 6MT's are the main difference. Guess everyones waiting to see what the stock forged 19's will look like, and the msrp price for the '05's. Also color changes for coupe. Heard there was 2 new blues, and beige added.

My guess, stock forged 19's will be slightly lighter than stock 18" cast alloy. Cool if it was forged 1-piece wheel. Just hope they put better tires than the Mich.pilots. Best to just wait and see when its actually out Oct. or Nov. Would be nice to see the new colors.

Seems to indicate 19's are included on these models.

Also, here is the 05 Infiniti order guide. It doesn't state anything about 19" wheels specifically, but it's not listed as an optional add on so if it will be offered, it will likely be a standard option on certain models.
