Sedan muffler need ASAP - HELP ME!

So I got pulled over...again, because of my wheels, got a warning for it, but the stupid cop cited me for emissions stating everything in my engine bay is illegal and so is my exhaust (yet under the hood I have a pop charger w/CARB legal sticker and a painted engine cover???)

Anyhow, I need to borrow someones muffler for a few days because I have to go the referee. I have mine, but since part of it was cut off when doing my muffler delete, I have to pay to get it welded back on.

If someone in the LA/OC area is willing to let me borrow their stock muffler for a few days, I'll buy ya lunch or something seeing as it is being used as storage space for you I'm sure. Need to take care of this ASAP. Help a fellow G member out Thanks.

03-04 and 05-06 sedan mufflers are mounted different. I know you ahve 05-06 so only borrow from an 03-04 member if you already have that bracket bolted in (the one you'd need for say like an HKS).

Yeah...with my old one I just had a new hanger welded on...I'm willing to buy one too if needed, but it's really not necessary since I'm gonna buy an exhaust soon, but yeah, for borrowing I'd need the 05-06

Nope, just a coupe midpipe. All other mods I got are the Z tube, pop charger, MD 5/16" spacer and no muffler. I'm just assuming I won't pass emissions with the muffler delete.

ohh i see. As far as emissions go, you will pass that without a problem even without a muffler. Anything after cats is for noise only... If u have the stock cats with no muffler you will even pass the sound test as well. Just take the car to the ref as is and you won't have a problem with it....

And if I do for any reason do I have to pay any fees for a re-take or something?

And basically if I get pulled over again, all I gotta do is whip out the papers that say I passed and the cops can't do anything about it correct?

It's all good....as long as I pass emissions and noise levels with what I got now I'll be happy. I bet if I had my OEM 19s I wouldn't have the problem...come to think about it, I didn't...but I got a warning once for my exhaust when i was flooring it uphill, the cop was nice though.

^+1, they pulled you over for your wheel fitment??

I have an 05-06 muffler (somewhere in my garage) that you can borrow. Hit me up if you still need one.

Yep...and tires not being the proper size...too stretched. All of it being a safety hazard.

Cop last week told me there needs to be a certain amount of air in it as well if a cop really wants to be a jerk about things.

Let me see if I can get what I have passed, and if not, I'll hit you up for sure. Thanks Marcus.
