students pay more, teachers are paid less, mandatory furlough days, horrible parking, no new student admitted until further notice, special edition books only for campus, new ongoing building projects taking away 2000 parking spaces.

Welcome to CSUF LOL. I am very close friends with a few professors, they are telling me their pay was cut by 10% and they are now taking mandatory furlough days. WIGGITY WHACK!

Did you know CSUF is only 1 of 5 schools in California that is AACSB Accredited in accounting? AWESOME!

That is one of the reasons why I chose CSUF as my back up school to attend, since USC denied me.

^when I was recruiting for the Big Four, I was right there sitting next to USC recruits.

I remember thinking......Here we are, sitting in the same spot....they're 100k in student debt, I'm $0. You'll be just fine

I totally agree. After the disappointment of not getting into USC, after working really hard to skyrocket my GPA, I realized that I am saving myself a whole lot of money and getting the same quality education because of the certification for both Universities

At CSUF, they are currently in construction of new parking structures. This didn't make sense to a lot of students being that the budget is tight, but the thing people may not realize is that those projects were more than likely contracted prior to the budget cuts. That is probably why they have to continue with current projects. I am not positive if this is 100% true, but it came from one of the professors at CSUF.

Yeah, not sure if thats 100% either. I believe I read that us students paid for the new structure out of the fees we pay, but I'm not sure either.

i have cousins that are going to college and some say its horrible and some say its ok.

I have one cousin that goes to CSUF, and he told me that he is wait listed on almost all his classes, which totally sucks because he does very very well in school, but i know that probably doesnt matter.

my brother is starting classes this fall at CSUSB, and he got all his classes that he wanted and was even able to enroll in the EOP program there. which is a pretty good program for freshmen.

i feel that some schools are building buildings just because they feel like the school needs them. I heard that at UCR they built a new student services because the chancellor wanted a new building for themselves when in reality they already have a building for themselves. And now they are putting a hold on a half built nanotechnology building because there isnt enough funding.

Im at SFSU and I got only 2 classes. And they are both online because i couldnt get into normal classes. I need to be a full time student for insurance purposes so I had to end up taking Bull$h!t classes to fill up my schedual, which also happen to be online. I am a senior this year and I still didnt get the priority registration to get my classes.... >_< so frustrating
