Current CSU Students
Any of you having issues getting in to the classes you need? It is absolutely RIDICULOUS out here at CSUN.
To the classes I've attempted to add, such as Calculus and Physics, there's probably a waiting list larger than the enrollment cap of the class. This semester is almost completely wasted for me.
The school budget cuts is pretty much affecting every student I know.

I go to Cal Poly SLO, I got everything I wanted so I guess I'm lucky. But my friend who goes to SF State says she is having a horrible time getting into classes. Basically crashing half her units.

I go to CSUF and got the classes I need. I was 3rd on the. wait list for ISDS 361A but then a few weeks after registration I was auto-enrolled into the class. What I hear most about cuts is from those that take the social science classes.
I am so pissed, parking is fvcked at CSUF and now its almost impossible to get the classes you want...and if you do get them they are spaced light years apart.

Well for me, parking isn't too bad. Although my classes don't start until 10, I get there around 8 and get parking in the structure at the top or 4th level, and just kill time at the TSU.

Now, what I find very frustrating is that tuition has gone up 600 bucks more for this academic year [not to mention, the previous tuition hikes the last few years] AND they have cut a lot of classes. Combine these two, and you have a ton of pissed off students.
There having this thing called a "Tent to Vent" at CSUN where students are all sending in their complaints to the CSU. I know, the name is pretty corny, but there's a ton of people sending in their complains.
From what I've heard, they are also trying to cut back on students.
henry for some reason I was able to get the classes i needed
I mean maybe it's because I took all of my GE's plus some extras at PCC that here I have ONLY classes for my major
but +1 on easy parking, that hasn't been too bad, PCC is just terrible
I like how they are building the performing arts building or w.e. and yet they are running out of money, I know the money was given to them to build that kind of stuff but I would assume cutting money from FUTURE projects to fund the current students and classes would be a better choice..or maybe I'm not thinking like a business major

The CSU system is a complete mess right now. I am glad I'm done with college. Good luck to the rest of you.
I went to Cal Poly Pomona, the parking there was pretty messed up too. And I didn't like the admin there, they made bad decisions that made no sense. For example, one year they redid the ground in front of the library and made it look all nice and pretty. About a year later, they tore it up too start the library renovation process. What a waste of my tuition...
