Don't worry, I have put a couple of meets together and it takes time for everyone to commit and review there calendars. This event has been done before so it makes it easy for people to return. Should get 20-25 E-Z. =)

Maybe I should go go the beach this weekend and take some pictures of the 'sand' to show what HB has to offer. I am not too into that type of stuff, but my friend told me it would help bring people to the meet.

 

if you guys havent decided on a place to meet, i have a few suggestions.

ikea lot off of jamboree and 5. it's closed so its a huge vacant lot.
my fiancee's company parking lot in lake forest.
have a nice santiago canyon run

my friends restaurant in HB. warner/bolsa chica

all three spots can hold 30+ cars and all three spots are free.

Someone has to take the lead here. People are getting confused as to where this shindig is going to take place. Who is organizing this meet? Grab your cajones and decide where and when you want this to happen. If this persist, you guys will have 5 different meets with 2 or 3 people each. Where is the fun in that? Just my opinion.

Let me tell you my position on this. I didnt choose to spend 40k on a car so I can go play in the sand at Huntington. I chose to spend 40k on a car, because that car looks good on me!!..=) Therefore, I would much rather cruise than vegetate all day even at the beach. $10 for parking?? Sure we can afford it but thats just stupid. There are plenty of BIG FREE parking lots in OC that we can meet in, take pics...ect ....and from there cruise down the coast to show off our "cool guy" selves. Sorry if I sound agitated, but I do agree with the previous post...too many cheifs, not enough Indians. Since it seems like Sukarain has been doing most of the work so far to make this meet successfull, I nominate him to take the lead and make the permanent arrangements.

We gotta spend some time on Main then the beach.

Half the meet is spending time with other G owners and having fun. Basketball was kickass. If all we did was caravan it would be gay.
