WALK TO CURE DIABETES!

As many of you know we have a personal connection with diabetes when our four year old daughter was diagnosed with diabetes over two years ago. As a result, besides closely monitoring her diet, Isabella must test her blood sugar levels three to four times a day and take insulin shots three times a day. As you can imagine, this has changed all our lives.

In our attempt to encourage and support Isabella and inform/educate those we know, we have formed Isabella & Friends in order to do two things:
~raise money to support the research required to find a cure.
~provide support to Isabella and let her know she is not alone in her fight against diabetes.

This is an excellent organization and cause. We just did the Pacific Grove walk last week. Our 12 year old was diagonised 1 year ago T1. Hang in there, there is great momentum for a cure!

+1, there is so much there working on right now looks to be very promising. We go on the pump in november and I hope that makes life easier but as a parent you want to do everything you can for your child.
