i believe that the lakers will win the next 2. Everytime the lakers have had there backs against the wall they come and play. this has been the way they played all year. they will bring it, bostons bench wont play like they did at home. shrek and donkey wont have the crowd to fire up with there little cheer leading routines. lets go lakers.

Wow this game was disappointing. Everyone on the Lakers team sucked except Bryant. WTF Gasol get your hands up and be ready to catch the ball!

The Celts were so organized in their play, everyone was involved and there was a lot of great teamwork. The Lakers was scattered all over the place with no specific play whatsoever. Sigh... Disappointed at the lakers. Thought that the players were finally starting to contribute to the team after Bryant started to pass the ball to his teammates rather than being a ballhog. Guess i was wrong.

I'm hoping the Lakers will make a great come back in the last 2 games!!!!!

nobody on the Lakers could set a decent pick for Kobe so he couldn't milk the pick and roll game at all tonight.
Once he realized he was getting ****ty picks all first half he just said fck it and went rampage in the 3rd quarter, boy was that fun to watch!

I thought Gasol did ok tonight, could have done better, but Artest disappointed me the most... not only was he getting owned by Pierce all night (and he's supposed to be an elite defender) but how the fck he shooting around 50% free throws in the series ?!!?
missed 2 clutch free throws after getting fouled on that fast break, that was disappointing to watch

I'm no genious, but I can see a clear trend here.We lose when we get outrebounded. We are a bigger team, hence this shows a clear lack of desire on the boards.

The Celtics did what they needed to do: win home games. Now we need to go back home and do the same.

The most frustrating thing is not being outplayed, it's seeing your team play without a heart!

Gasol, Lamar, Artest, and the bench are not showing up and not giving it there 100%. Kobe has a killer instinct. Fisher is giving his best, and Andrew is trying to fight through the pain as much as possible.

They seriously need to limit Artest to about 20-25 minutes AT MOST during crucial defensive moments. He is just killing us on offensive so badly right now. He's shooting 30% FG with about 7.8 pts in 35 minutes. And the Celtics are not even guarding him and are leaving him wide open.

SkaterBasist, yea Lakers may be a slightly "taller" team, but the Celtics are twice as physical, they are the most physical team in the NBA... Perkins, Big Baby and Garnett, Rasheed, with those names expect nothing less. It's not so much lack of desire, just the Celtics have some legit bangers down low that know how to throw bodies around.

Now I may be over analyzing here with what I'm about to say but in regards to this rebounding problem to me it all has to do with Gasol, Bynum and Odom all being finesse rebounders, all having very similar physical makeup, they are all very tall and lanky with super long arms. So when they get their rebounds it's rarely because they are banging and throwing bodies around to get them, Bynum has quick hands and he literally rips the ball from out the air while towering over everyone, Gasol with his lanky soft arms finds his spots and stealthily steals the ball from midair, while Odom seems to just reach out to incredible lengths with his super long arms to ****** any spalding in the vicinity.

these are all finesse type rebounds, and they will not cut it in a Finals environment especially against a physical team like the Celtics

next game at the staples centre is gonna be absolutely nuts!!!! i cant wait

Artest blew the game for us last night. Went up soft, got fouled to then only miss the 2 free throws.

So THESE are the REAL Lakers. Now was that so hard? This is the way the Lakers should play every night, but are inconsistent when it comes to physicality, ball movement and rebounds off the glass. Tonight, they exhibited all three plus more. The Lakers seem more comfortable at home. I understand the benefit of home court advantage, but in the NBA that's not enough to be successful. You NEED to win on the road. Playing game 7 at home, there is NO EXCUSE to not bring the golden trophy home!

Lakers are almost unstoppable at home this postseason. It is their end of 3rd and beginning of 4th quarter collapses that kill them. I am glad that wasn't the case in game 6.
