Front Plate Ticket Help!

I searched for threads on this but I guess they are buried cuz I didnt find any.

Anyway, I got a ticket for no front plate in Downtown LA. Bail amount of $25 came in the mail. Can I just pay this and be done with it or do I have to go in and show them that I put the plate back on?

This is my very first front plate ticket obviously. I had one for mislocation of a front plate that cost me $40.

What does the ticket say? The back of the ticket gives you directions.

Im guessing it's a write off ticket so you must get it looked at by a cop and approved then he signs it and then you can pay the $25

^^^Yup, that's how it typically works. But why not just read the back of the ticket or call in to make sure? Seems logical..

you gotta go to local CHP office to show them proof that you got front plates on- then go pay your fine of $25

thanks for the clarification.

@velvet, guesses or logical way that C or Curryboy provided isn't "help". then calling me lazy and no common sense doesnt help, does it?

and it does help that ppl who actually got a front plate ticket chimed in.

I've gotten a no front plate ticket in downtown LA all I did was mail in the bail money and haven't shown anyone proof of a front plate on my car and I'm currently in the hiring process with the LAPD and nothing has came up on my background check.
