SoCal paint job?

So, when I bought my G, I knew I would have to get it repainted as the current paint job is ****e. I'm about ready to get this done, however, I wanted to check with you all to see if anyone had suggestions for a shop in SoCal that would do a great job for a reasonable price.

I'm in San Diego, but I don't mind driving a couple of hours away (it'll just give me an excuse to go a road trip), so I'm open to really anywhere in the area.

Also, I have searched on the site, but haven't really seen any threads on this.

So, any thoughts?

Auto Explosion Auto Body in Gardena and R&J in Carson are used by lots of folks. Both do great work, my car has gotten a bunch of work done at Auto Explosion.

Sure no problem..I posted it for all to see..Ramon has been in the business for years and used to do custom work in the Mini truck era.

He just doesn't have time to do major custom work because his business is pretty much busy.

What's the distinction? All I know is that the paint job the dealership put on it, before I bought it, is ridiculous. They didn't even take the badges off before painting it. They just taped everything up and painted it that way. So, when I get it done, I definitely want them to do it piece by piece.
