I have been hanging out in the Roland Height area for awhile now. Speed Zone is absolutely a blast. I particularly love the slick track, and have been drifting there like a mad man. I think we should plan a Speed Zone event in late Sept or Oct so we can show off our Racing/Drifting skillz without endangering our lives and more importantly our cars. Maybe we can move one Chino Meet there, buy a unlimited pass and just hang out there on a Tuesday night.

btw: I suggest we eat at Puente Hills Curry House before or after the meet, I have managed to acquire a 20% off coupon good till October.

I used to live in hacienda hts but moved just shortly after speed zone was built. I hear a lot of good things and its also great that we got a fellow G'er that would cut us a deal for G night.

Dromo one is a LOT of fun and yes it is expensive and ya, too bad no drinks, but nonetheless fun. I'd be interested in hookin' up with the SoCal Gs for Speedzone...

Wow, Speed Zone group sales manager is a fellow G-er This is perfect. I'll get in touch with Patrick and see what we can come up with. As far as Dromo1, it sounds like a great place. but it seems like a more serious venu with more money/time committment rather than fun rides at Speed Zone.Can't really pass up the 20% off coupon at Pente Hills Curry House and group discount + G35 discount at Speed Zone. Sukairain get with patrickwong seems like a nice guy and we can move the next GTG to the SpeedZone after we talk to everyone this Tuesday. I have been to the SpeedZone tons of fun we just need to see if there will be plenty of parking or if patrick can help us in that department. I should be able to get some Z guys come along also.

patrickwong, I'm in charge of the Chino GTG we have from 15-25 cars/people show up and its always on Tuesday. Our next GTG would be 9/21/04 we get together around 7pm. Let us know what kind of deal you can offer us and what the parkinglot looks like on Tuesday nights?


My 2004 G35

 

We meet usually Tuesday Nights around 7:00pm, usually we have around 15 people for the meet. There will probably more people for the Speed Zone meet. Patrick, I left you my cell number, so you can call me when you have more details. We probably won't stay at Speed Zone for more than 3 hours total since everyone has work and we'll get dinner first.

My biggest concern is parking, since Speed Zone parking lot is usually full. Is there any way you can reserve a section of the parking lot for us?

a couple of things i worry about having a meet at Speedzone..

1. the sheriffs
2. the crowd....they have alot of ricers and people standing outside the parking lot....last time i had to ask number of people to not 'lean' on my car...with they wallet chains...yikes!!

irvine78 & JKDman bring up good concerns, if someone can checkout the activity on a Tuesday night that would be great cuz if someone is leaning on my G, they will find themselves on the floor!

PS lets stay away from ricers they just cause problems or Accidents!

there is the parking behind your gate on the west end of your building. I see a bunch of cars in there... must be staff or something. Would be real cool if we could pull in there, and then we could keep an eye on our rides too.
