Wow......i'm shocked people are this desperate. Sorry to hear and see all of this. For them to tow you and steal your wheels, seems planned out well. I hope someone around the area saw what happened. At least its recovered.

The studs werent cut off.. they broke off, that sometimes happends when the car is jacked up unevenly and they remove all tires almost at the same time.. basically the car puts all the weight on one side and breaks them off.. usually there's damage to the rims when that happens.. these guys arent pros.

It pains me to see your car that way man. Good luck working it out with your insurance company.

This reminds me, I need to get my wheels insured.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Any car can get taken with a tow truck, if someone wants your car badly enough they can get it.

OP, good luck with everything.

My two cents

Can I make a suggestion bro? Sorry to hear about what happened to your car. I've been there, it's an unbelievable feeling. Your insurance should pay you for your new rims, you can buy whatever you want. Here's the suggestion though. Whatever you do, do not buy another set of those foose df-5's you had on there. It sounds like they attract criminals in your area. And maybe get an additional pager proximity alarm.

Looks like the shadows make the studs look like they are broken. I zoomed in to the angle of the passenger rear and I can see them there still.

Sad....I hate to see this happen to anyone. Insurance should cover everything damaged or stolen. Get what ever wheels you like, but I would get an alarm so this doesn't happen again.

I am not sure yet as to what wheels to get. i was looking into the Vertini Hennessy wheels but then again that was like a year ago lol so i need to see whats new right now. might go do that this weekend.

also pager alarms, which one is recommended? Silencer i like the one you have which one is it?
