about a hydraulic floor jack

i drained the hydraulic fluid in the floor jack and while doing so, 2 ball bearing(?) in difference sizes, and a long spring. Where did they fall from?
And when i was trying to seep in hydraulic fluid in the filler plug, the fluid doesn't go in. Although i managed to put oil in a hole used for purging out air. (Dunno if it's ok..)
I have a 3 ton craftsman floor jack. please tell me where those bearings and springs go and how to fill the fluid, properly.

thx
