de-badge FAIL

hey so i always wanted to de-badge my car and i looked at the DYI on here and it was good help and i did it with floss and when they came off there was still a lot of adhesive still on it, i managed to get it all off by scrubbing it and using rubbing alcohol, after i got it all off i thoroughly washed the area, the problem is there is still somewhat of a shadow of the letters still there its more shiny and i can still see the letters, also a few scratches (my fault) but anyone have any advice to make the letters kind of fade away ? thanks

Take it to a detail shop and have them buff it off.

What year is your car? If you're seeing shadows, you'll mostly need to polish it.

Get a can of Bug and Tar remover. You should have done the debadging with a heat gun, bug and tar remover, and fishing line.
