<hr></blockquote>Ahhh ... had a special hook-up person from the Porsche club. The particular gentleman likes to snap pics for hobby and was given special access (by Speed Ventures) to be at the inside of the sweeper taking pics of his Stuttgart comrades flying by.

i'll be there for jgtc, unfortunately i won't be arriving in my g35 so the track day is out of the question for me. i'll be there the entire weekend with my boyfriend and the rest of the subaru community...

Hi Clint. That was a great time at Buttonwillow. Ed had told me that you were once again arranging track day with Speedventures. I'll probably join you guys, but this time in a track ready Miata that I picked up last weekend. Should be interesting to see how it fares on a high speed course like Cal Speedway.

How are you doing my friend. Good to have you again Wow, you and Ed sure doesn't mess around ... I feel so inanimate compare to the two of you. A track Miata huh? Probably a 'Spec. Miata' ? Great little cars to learn car control with ... and parts are relatively cheaper to deal with. You'll love it.

FYI ... I just got to read the periodical e-mail from Speed Ventures. There appeared to have been some nice changes to how SV operates for all future events.

Cool deal! No more carrying 50 lbs. in water and ice in the trunk

<font color=red>4 run groups (class)</font color=red>
Red - Crazy people w. crazy cars
Blue - Intermediate (no novice allowed)
White - Novice (no first timers allowed)
Yellow - First-timers only, or if so desired.

The idea is to allow novice people to not get held up by slower first-timers and likewise for the intermediate guys w. the novice people. Yellow group will also get more 'class room' educations.

<font color=red>Registration openings filled per run groups</font color=red>
This prevents any particular group to get too crowded ... cutting into the track time of those in white and yellow, who also paid good money to track.

What this also means is if you know you want to attend a particular event ... do it ASAP or your 'class' might get sold out!!!
