No front plates always go out for the night on weekends ,flooded with Pigs, they say nice front! nice ride but never get Harrased, Unless your car looks all race out .Boy i tell you you are in for trouble.

Haven't run a front license plate in the past 20 years or that's the last time I got a ticket for no plate/tint. But that doesn't mean I won't get caught tomarrow, that is the game we all play....

i rarely put on my front plate when i lived in socal, but have it on all the time up here. ugh, i can't afford to give someone a reason to pull me over.

I am not wearing a front plate but I have been cited for it. Put it back on for fix it ticket and I took it off the same day.

if any of you lived on the westside, you'd rock your front plate. i didn't have one for 4 years and after about $275 in parking tickets, i decided 'fvck this' and ordered a new set. (i bought the car used and it didn't come w/ the front plate)

^^^F That. I worked in the Westside while I lived in Atwater village. I got tickets for NOT having a front license plate all over the place. 3 times I was stopped by LAPD just for not having a front license plate, with 2 tickets issued. Not to mention (like you said) how many parking tickets were issued to me for not having a front license plate. Did you get those parking tickets at your residence? Were you parking on the street?

However, I refuse to cave. I bought the Stillen front license plate bracket, so that whenever I was issued a ticket by LAPD, I would just pop that bad boy on, and in 15 minutes, I was paying $10 and out the door. Minutes later, I would be back to my old setup. Yes, I pay for vanity, but the front license plate is hideous and I refuse to adorn my G with it.

Then I moved to San Diego and only once have I been pulled over and issued a warning by San Diego PD since 2006 for not having a front license plate. Since then, no warnings or citations since. LAPD was just real **** about it.

I was wondering if anyone else noticed this? I kept reading it and there was this big "HUH?" on my part. So I haven't voted.

i've gotten them at my residence in santa monica. in front of my buddy's condo on Barry st. in west LA a few times, then 3 in front of my fiance's apt. in playa del rey. OH, and also when i was parked at LAX for about 15 mins. some cop on a bicycle came and slapped one on. thank you!!
