I don't dislike cops, they're just doing their job out on the street. Flipin Meter Maids really....really suck, you can't even park your ride without being harassed. Those are the individuals I'd run over with a dump truck without any guilt, lucky for them I don't own/have one....

So...i did a photoshoot sometime last week and the day I decide to go to Vegas I drive around town killing time before it's time to go and what do ya know....pulled over for modified exhaust and no front plate. Cop was cool though, saw my tinted windows and said he wouldn't sweat me for that, didn't give me the ticket for modified exhaust but wrote me up for front plates. First thing I did when I got home was put it back on. Another $25 out my pocket but coulda been more I guess.

On my sedan, I went with the front plate - all I had to do was remove the insert and mount the plate and I don't want to give the Police any enticement to pull me over (and it's a stock sedan, so it's not like my car is in any photo shoots).

Now on my 2011 QX56, I have so far refused to mount the front plate. I say mount, because what Infiniti gives you is a little bracket that you have to DRILL into the front bumper to mount - NO THANKS!

I'm hoping someone out there comes up with an aftermarket bracket that mounts through the grill to the frame/radiator bracket for the new QX56s.

I work on the westside and I swear those meter maids are just ridiculous. I don't think it's $10 anymore....plz correct me if I'm wrong. After the third ticket I said forget this and slapped the plates on. It's not worth the hassle or time for me to go get it fixed and then still pay the fine. I'd love to get the motorized show and go plate holder if only my front wasn't a nismo.
