My G is going to be repainted
Some of you guys know that my G was keyed last Saturday.
So I took it to my insurance company to estimate the damage and they told me that the car was not keyed past the clear coat and it would be able to be buffed out by a good body shop.. Total cost 400 bucks. I dropped of my G at the body shop yesterday, and they called me today stating that the whole car will have to be repainted except for the bumpers, BUT they will removed the old clear bra and get me a new clear bra on it..
I'm looking at this as a positive, since now I will get a new paint job and a new clear bra basically for my 250 dollar deductable
I'll post pics when she is done is 2 weeks.

If they are going to repaint the rest of the car, you may want to see how much more it would be to do the bumpers too. That way everything would be repainted at the same time, i.e. ensuring the color match, and lowering the possibility of uneven color fading over time. Just something to consider.
