i'm considering about getting a OEM carbon fiber hood because a friend of mine can get me a discount. I don't know much about hoods so im wondering if if OEM is a good brand to get. If anyone has any comments or other suggestions please feel free and respond. Thanks =)

 

apart from the VIS vented carbon fiber hood the OEM style hood is the only other one i've seen made for the car so far. to my knowledge the hoods are virtually same from any brand/manufacturer...the only differences as far as performance is carbon kevlar and carbon fiber.

 

ok.. well OEM isn't a brand... OEM is just your stock hood but in carbon fiber.. find out what the brand it is first.. and make sure its either a Grade A hood or a Grade AA hood. I would recommend either ViS or GTP/ImportFan hood! Good Luck!
