Lightbulb JGTC and D1 Drift a success

Hey guys, JGTC was insane!

The Fan Lap was a lot of fun, especially since most of the other clubs
who signed up after us did not get to do the Fan Lap. The NSX club was
first to register and they had 100 NSX's out there doing the Fan Lap (they
took most of the spots available). The EVO club was not very happy :P

A lot of 240SX guys came with our club, they were pretty chill.

Steve, Steve 2, Ed, Ruben, Dan, and everyone else, it was great to meet you
all. Thanks to Rudy from Sound Advice for lunch!

Hopefully you guys can post up some footage from the Fan Lap soon.

Wow, I only went Sunday but what a insane event. JGTC, D1, Formula D, vendors, pit walk, VIP treatment........ WOW! We've gotta do it again next year. I ended up going with the Freshalloy Club for free but I got to park with the G'ers. Man, that was one for the books. Thanks Joey for the parking pass and thanks to Sound Advice for the party sub.

The only person I saw at the event was Ed, actually just Ed's car =( I wanted to meet everyone but I kinda got lost in the sea of stuff that filled up cal speedway. i only recognized ed's car from the toys for tots event, but when i stopped by no one was really there. i guess i stopped by way too early. i wasn't able to get any pictures of the fan lap cuz it was kinda off on the schedule. the schedule printed had the fan lap towards the end, but for some reason it was like in the middle of all the events. did any of you get a chance to drive the nismo Z? i specifically waited in that long *** line just so i could drive that thing and it was well worth it. they even told me to take it easy on the car, twice hahaha. they tried to hide the vdc off button but thanks to my g i knew exactly where to find it and turn it off haha. anyways, next time i'll defintely try to do the club thing with you guys. maybe in feb for d1?

I bet yall liked the Fan lap

Next time come on by for the track event where you can do a 'fast lap' ... or at least get a ride in one

JGTC cars were simply breath taking. Did anyone catch Gan-san from Best Motoring? ... yes, I saw him! The prez of Nismo Japan was there too. He touched my Kinetix Intake Plenum ... LOL!

I was there too Got to meet Joey, Ed, Ed 2, Steve, Steve 2, ruben and the rest of the nice bunch!

Just got home an hour ago, I'll post pics this weekend! All of you G35 guys rock, everyone was super nice. Plus the cars were great, the drifting was spectacular, and I finally got to see for real what I see in those Best Motoring videos! It was great seeing all the jgtc drivers, and Rhys Millen came close to kicking some major ***!

I also spotted a Nissan Fuga (M45) in the club parking, must have been one of the Nissan employees.

P.S. No luck on the whereabouts of my laptop yet, but still hoping whoever has it is nice enough to return it. That little thing aside, I think it was one of the most fun weekends I ever had! I may just visit So Cal. more often...

I borrowed ed's exhibitor's pass to get my laptop in and demo the dialogue manager to the gang at the PAS booth (where G35Lin's car was) around 4:15pm, I left my laptop at the booth and told Marci to keep an eye on it, while we went to the drifting event. When Ruben, Joey, Ed and I got back everything was in Ed's car, except my laptop! We called the other Ed (Models in Motion) and he asked the models and his wife about it, and none of them had it

I called Jada toys to see if it ended up in their truck since they were the neighboring booth, and it didn't

So if any of you run into it, it's a black Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100 Serial no. X2063327P build date of Oct. 2002. It was in a black Targas laptop bag (cordura nylon), and it has my passport in it and I think some of my business cards are in there. I would like it back and will pay for shipping charges back to northern cali or come down to so. cal to pick it up myself.

I called Fontana police and just filed a report on it, going to check with mom tonight to see if her homeowners' insurance covers it...

I need to buy the program so I can translate my Hi8 camcorder. When I do I'll find a place to post the fan lap coverage.
