OBD-II connector using Cipher software from Uprev- Is this safe?

Hi All
I found a guy who says he can program my car (04 G35 Auto) with this OBD-II connector using Cipher software from Uprev for a pretty good price, my question is has anyone done this? Also he says it can be set back to stock just by resetting the ECU? I only have an intake and plenum spacer on my ride and I also have some test pipes which I have yet to install.... Im just curious what you think..... Thanks

You can get your car tuned via Uprev through the obd-2 connector, but who is this guy that you are referring to? If you want someone to tune your car via Uprev, you should look at one of their pro dealers who are licensed to sell their products, and more importantly, have the knowledge to tune safely and efficiently. Also they should have a dyno. If you are looking for a good tuner around the area, I recommend Specialty Z in Chatsworth. They are a pro dealer for Uprev and have tuned countless numbers of cars using Uprev, mine included.

Thanks, Yeah I found a guy who was doing it really cheap and not using a dyno. Its sounded a little too good to be true.
