New to this forum here, and i know g35couture isn't anyone new here. He's got a good reputation and has been around the forums for a very long time.

so it all started when i went out to purchase this steering wheel from this thread --> link

i received a PM a few days later with a phone number telling me to text him. after I sent a text, the messages went like the following. Notice the dates the messages are being sent. I am very calm and patient. hardly ever sent a text more than once per day. all i asked for was an update or a tracking number.














So from then on, he hasnt answered any of my calls or texts. its been well over a month and im getting really irritated. i made a paypal claim, but who knows how that's going to go. if anyone personally knows this guy, or has any advice as to what i can do i would really appreciate it. guys like these should be banned and forbidden on any forum.

Sux. Paypal does lag unfortunately . I had to make a claim with my bank last time something like that happen to me. Hope everything works out man.

 

Did u use a credit card? If so contact them and stop the payment or have the CC folks look into it for u.

 

Also, I have notice a couple of times that the forum staff can step in and try to help, but I'm not 100% if they only step in with vendors

I would do a chargeback and be glad he did you a favor. For $180 and taking 17 weeks to ship it or how ever long he did. You are getting a fake if you ever do and yeah he will emphasize on genuine since it is fake and he will keep mentioning genuine to somehow make it seem authentic. Have fun and good luck bro

i used $60 from money i already had in my paypal, and the other 120 was on my card. I'm calling my bank today to see if they can do anything about it. even though it was over a month ago.

yeah now that i can see this guy is a scam i wouldnt be surprised if the wheel was fake. i already bought a hub adapter and quick release too. so damn frustrating

so i filed a dispute with paypal. He has 10 days to provide a legit tracking number, or a reasoning for what is going on. if he doesnt contact paypal, my money will be refunded. this is great news and i hope this scum bag gets what he deserves
