New traffic line colors

I recently notice that the 10 Freeway in the San Gabriel Valley area is double solid white line is that considered the new double yellow lines? The carpool lane is going to turn into an express toll road

It works almost like the double yellow in the sense that you aren't to ever cross them, but it doesn't split traffic direction. Yea, the stupid HOV / Fastrak lane... it seems like a lame concept, but it works great when the freeway is congested and you don't mind paying the toll.

I wish the 105 and the 60 were toll roads

They also just converted the 110 North and South to toll roads, which is suppose to take effect soon.

If it's anything like it is up here, it's a carpool lane that you can drive as a toll lane if you don't have any passengers to carpool with. So in other words, it's still a carpool lane that you can drive on for free with passengers, but you can drive on that lane by yourself if you pay.

you have to get a transponder like if you were on the 91. On there it has a switch that says if you have 1, 2 or 3+ passenger. Each time you take the toll road you have to turn the switch to how many passengers you have. If it shows that you have less passengers than you say you have it will transmit to CHP or take a photo of you when you drive underneath the cameras.
