Work wheels stolen in Los Angeles! FML

I was just in Hawaii for vacation with my family for about a week and came back home this past Saturday night. I woke up this morning at around 9AM, saw my 350Z on bricks...

The car was not broken into, but just my wheels were stolen. The wheels were Work Meister S1 3 piece in polished black with polished lips. The sizes were 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 with the offsets being mid to high +20s. Some of the "Work" logos on the face were lightly scratched away on some edges. All of the rivets had some browning around them due to daily wear and tear. I am located in the San Fernando Valley just outside of Northridge so if you have any information or spot these wheels in person and/or for sale, it would be greatly appreciated if it were forwarded to me.

Description:
Work Meister S1 3 piece (black polish, polish lip)
18x8.5 +20 something
18x9.5 +20 something
Nitto 245/40 275/40 if I recall.
The Work logos on the face were chipping away on the edges, but nothing serious.
Around the rivets were brake dust stains (orange/brown).
No curb rash.

Added information, we had Rays Engineering lug nuts on them (not the $400 formula type) and either the car had been scouted prior or they were just THAT good and took them off within minutes.

Finally, I would like to say that I have no respect whatsoever for people like this. These people belong in the same category as those who throw eggs, take keys to paint, or even write a message in the middle of a dusty hood. They were lucky they didnt get caught in the middle of the night, because both me and my father would not have hesitated to reach for one of our firearms. For all you current and/or future custom wheel owners, lock nuts for your wheels do not guarantee security.

My advice: Check craigslist repeatedly and zilvia.net. You might be lucky enough to catcg them selling your wheels there.

I always wondered how much harder is it to steal wheels off a lowered car.

Since most jacks do not fit under low cars.

Do you by any chance insure with Geico? They cover that type of loss for however much you value the wheels and tires.

my advice is: remove those ugly overlays on the headlights.
Then do what Equipped4dr said.

Try the one in the trunk. It's the best jack to use.

Sounds like professionals. Right tools for the job makes anything easy and possible. They could use a airbag to lift that in seconds.

I shouldn't respond to such a stupid post....^....but you're a dumb azz! Works wheels are some of the coolest/best and they looked great on his Z!
Keep watching Craigs list, they'll show up. Hope your insurance company covers your wheels 100%....Gary

from what I know you going to have a hard time trying to get insurance company to cover the wheels.

If they will pay for anything, it will be most likely price of OEM wheels.
In order to have your custom wheels covered, you had to list them as extra equipment on your policy and pay a little extra for them.

At least that's how it works in my state.

But it never hurts to try.
Find your receipt for purchasing wheels
Get a police report if you have not done it yet
And file an insurance claim.

Good luck.

I'll just leave this here...

https://g35driver.com/forums/souther...ht=Rims+stolen

Take it from me. File a police report immediately. Have your receipts ready to go for your your insurance company or photos of the wheels on your Z for proof that those were your rims on your Z

And as others stated, check out Ebay, Craigslist, other forums, etc. Hopefully your Z doesn't have damage from the block(s) like mine did.
