Dyno Day: 2.19.2005

Ok...
The "feeler" thread reflects that we have 10 people that are willing to participate.

EK and Nuttyprof were planning on going on the 19th, so I figure this would be the best way to go about it.

Three dyno runs/pulls will cost you approx. $50 so please have your cash ready or swing by the ATM on the way to Torrance.

The location will be at Church's automotive in Torrance.

These people who have confirmed are:

1. Dizz- Donny
2. JKDman- Dru
3. EK- Albert
4. RedondoG- ?
5. Irvine 78- Hoon
6. RacerX35- ?
7. HellaQwik- ?
8. nuttyprof- ?
9. Kamal34- Kamal
10. G354God- Mark

Understand that we are not limiting this to 10 people. This is just the minimum to acquire the $50/3 run pricing.

I hope to meet more new faces at this event.

I was also thinking, i know, it hurts...
If anyone cares to wager who's car will make the most power.
NA guys vs NA guys and FI guys vs. FI guys, I think this would make things a bit more interesting.

Probably won't happen, but it's a just thought. OUCH!
Well, if all goes accordingly on the 19th, at least we'll know who will have bragging rights.

See you guys there.

Damn...wagers for most power? How about HP per $$ spent?

We should also decide what gear we're going to be running in ahead of time, so that it'll be easier to compare results. Apparently the MT cars' results aren't affected much by 4th vs 5th gear, but last time my car was there, 3rd was 15HP higher than 4th (AT).

Dizz,
I'll confirm the date w. Shaun (at Church Automotive) tomorrow.

btw ... 50 bux is a very fair deal. 3 runs + AF typically averages ~75 bux.

Hey, what about Kamal? It's GreddyTT vs. Vortech vs. SpeedForceRacingTT!

This is going to be SWEET! I just can't believe my luck. My wife just gave me a kitchen pass for this day and I didn't know what I was going to do.

Yeah, it still won't be accurate on my end - TT not tuned, one spark plug fried, and my ever-irritating exhaust leak....

Well, at least it will be nice to have this "baseline", so I can see what tuning and repairs will give me in way of hp and tq.....

It will be fun nonetheless!!!!

Yeap yeap. I was at Speed Force yesterday morning and got my car dynoed there. I did good but numbers werent accurate cause I turned my boost up a lil. I am at about 405ish area or a lil less now. Tim(Speed Force Racing owner)turned the boost down cause he want feeling safe with the psi. I was at 7.2-7.3 psi and I hit 410.8hp. He turned it a little lower to about 7psi and we didnt do a run on that. I am thinkin I should still get alittle above 400 or like I said, maybe a little lower. Oh well, whatever happens, happens. If you guys wanna see, Ill try to get my dyno chart scaned and posted asap. Thankx
