aftermarket driveshaft

Howdy all,

I have a 2004 G35 sedan, auto trans 2wheel drive.

so trying to get a few extra ponies at the wheel, pretty sure the driveshaft on my sedan is heavy and would like a lighter option.

Any ideas?

It won't make more ponies but it does free up rotating mass which leads to better times. They're out there but you need to do a little research.

True that! felt ponies is how I should have described it... I am finding carbon fiber for the 6 speed manual trans, but not auto trans... the search continues....

There are aluminum options for the autos. They're only a few pounds heavier and usually half the cost.

I have a carbon fiber driveshaft and i notice it rev up faster. When i got mine installed it was 1/2 the weight of the OEM
