Anyone here own a Lexus LS430?
Well since my dad sold the G, he's kind of been keeping an eye out for another car. Today we finally went to Tustin Lexus and drove one. Sidenote: I saw like a million G35 coupes at Tustin Infiniti and their extra lot... When I was looking for a coupe, there was like 7 max at a dealership (sept 03).
Anyways, the LS 430 was really nice and comfortable. The thing that suprised me was the really smooth power delivery of the V8. I thought it would be a lot slower and feel heavier. I just wanted to hear the thoughts of owners or people more familiar? I want to hear some cons, so we don't jump into this car too soon. I think we might check out a BMW 745 or something too, but the LS is looking more promising.

oh an dmy thoughts on the LS... awesome ride, my friends dad has it.. even tho its so nice i wouldnt pay the 70+ price tag for that.. need something faster... i really like those automated ac vents.. lol i know the smallest things amuse me
He's only looking for a four door luxury sedan. He doesn't care about speed at this point. Automated AC vents.. that was my fav too. Actually the one we were looking at (without the fridge and all this unnecessary crap, but equal in options to a fairly loaded 745li) was only 67k MSRP, which they will work with. My uncle just got a fully loaded black / black 645ci convertible, so we've got one in the family. =)
