Santa Monica Infiniti

Anyone have any info on these guys? I didn't buy my G from them but I need to get my brakes done (18K Miles). I live 2 miles away and there isn't any other dealer close, especially since BH shut down. Is there anyone in particular that you have you had a good experience with, or anyone had poor experience with? Names please.

Since I'm there, should I address any other issues?

Thanks.

If you have ANY aftermarket mods, don't take your car there for issues.
Regular maintenance like brakes and oil changes i guess would be okay.

But let's say you have a weird noise coming from the car, or whatnot, and if you have mods, they'll blame your mods. No questions asked, they'll just blame it on the mods.

I bought my coupe from there for a good price.
I was there for the first couple oil changes but as soon as they gave me BS over my Z-tube causing a weird valvetrain noise coming from my car, they lost my business.

Had i known what i know now, i would have stood my ground and told them to give me their explanation in writing. I just don't want to deal with them anymore.

My car's probably too low for their lifts anyway.

If Andre is still there, don't deal with that midget. He's a crook.
If Melvin is there, he's a cool cat. He's got a 240sx if i remember correctly, so he knows what's up with fellow modders.

I called SM Infiniti and spoke to Ron. He seems like a cool guy. I'm going in Monday morning. He said my brake job will take about an hour and a half. Maybe I'll test the new M while I'm waiting.

Expect a report about my experience with Ron and SM Infinti.

I don't know about test driving a M45 or M35, last time I went there to look at M's, they told me that they need some kind of deposit to test drive one. They lost my business right away and bought a 06 GS430 instead my friend also had bad experience from them. when he was looking for white G35 4dr 6mt, they told him the car does not exist, well, guess what? he found one in Riverside infiniti for really good price. I would not recommend them at all for anything.

Just got back.

Ron is the man to see there. Very courteous and knows his stuff. After getting me some rear brakes, he programmed three remotes for me. He was going to give me loaner for the hour plus it took for the brake job. Since they were out of them, he offered to give me a rental. I declined since it wouldn't take too long and I wanted to play around with the M. If you need your car serviced at Santa Monica ask to speak with Ron.

Funny thing is that is saw a board up in the back of their offices and it looked like a customer satisfaction rating corrsponding with each of their service people. Andre had one of the lowest scores. Ron, the highest.
