What all do they do? just oil change? do they top off other fluids or anything like that?

Escondido service dept. was pretty cool. there is a young guy that works in the service dept. (forgot his name but his office is right next to the enterance) and he was really helpful... but those dealers.. i guess they didnt see me drive in with my car and wouldnt give me the slightest bit of acknowledgement. i have to admit i just turned 20, i am asian, and my hair isnt the cleanest looking style out there... but F*CK THEM!

The one on Convoy is alright. No better or worse than any other dealership. Make an appointment if you want a loaner, they never have any available if you just drop by.

They've swapped out my radio for the stuck CD's issue about 3 times. Now that I only keep 5 discs in it instead of 6, I haven't had the problem recur.

They swapped the rail assembly for my driver's seat when it was wobbly, but I had to take it in a couple times before they did that. First time they replaced some bracket, and the tech acknowledged that it didn't help, but didn't have a better solution.

They are mod friendly. You can buy a Z-tube and a pop charger and various other things directly through them (though they charge full price). The service advisors are friendly. They pay a little bit of attention to freshalloy and g35driver, which is where they discovered what mods they should offer for sale, but they don't maintain a presence here.

The "free car wash" sucks. They never get all the brake dust off the front wheels, or bug guts off the front bumper. It's not bad, but some days I'd rather have my car back 15 minutes sooner.

I change my own oil.

For you younger guys: Sorry, nobody's going to give you a loaner, or even rent you a car, if you're under 25. That's where the insurance companies have drawn the line. 18 to smoke, 21 to drink, 25 to rent a car. Except it's easier to do the first two earlier.

you get the standard wash. i think they check oil pressure, maybe top off the fluids, but not sure.

But no problems with Kearny mesa so far.
