my TPS light comes on almost every time i drive the car for 40+ miles straight. Happened ever since i got my rims. Whats weird is i dont even have the sensors on the rims. Anyone know wth is goin on?

I'm so glad your homies were able to offer you nothing but air (no pun intended).

Here's the real deal. Your tires may look 'fine' to you, but I'm 99% sure, one of them is near the 28psi mark (during the colder night), which is the cut-off point for the TPS alarm to chirp. Check all four w. a proper guage then fill them all back up to 34psi and your set. If you have access to Nitrogen air like Dizz said ... even better, but don't sweat over it.

You've got a whole another issue. Your TPS's aping on you because you haven't got any TPS sensors on at all (w. your new kicks). The system does a periodic check of the sensors and when it doesn't find it ... the dash light goes off. You'll have noticed it didn't 'screamed' at you for 10 seconds like it did to G35Chick. It just '' at ya! So, unless you remount those sensors (assuming it's compatible w. your new wheels), that'll be a periodic affair fo ya!

i don't know how readily u can get a hold of nitrogen to keep around you all the time. but i know that donny constantly emits methane gas; sometimes on and off command.
