Clint my man, i know wat you mean about the Pagani, i had one of them in GT3 and was murderous on every other car in the game. But i gotta save up and i dont have the IA license so its hard for me to get into the big money races.

B-spec on any endurance race then I go for about 15 laps after the first pit then b-spec and so fort. Damn dude 24hrs of Nurburgring is just to much. I just won the GT4 concept car at the extreme events yesterday. Not to bad about 7 laps a race for 10 races. The list of cars continues 7 pages.....more if I didn't sell more than half of the cars I got.

Hey Clint (and anyone else who wants to answer) --

Is it the Logitech Driving Force Pro that you use? I've toyed with the idea of getting one, but finished ~98% of GT3, and 25% (so far) of GT4 with just the controller. Have you played much with the controller as well as the wheel? Do you think it makes gameplay that much easier, or just more fun and realistic.

Oh, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the F1 car is the prize for winning the Nurburgring 24hr endurance race (I haven't done that one yet).

at 24 hours of Nurberg!!!

Took my Carbon Toyota GT-1 ... then realized it was over kill for that race (blew the competition away), but it was too late to withdraw. Put on a crap load of uneccessary milage on my black beaut. Oh well.

The F1 car is sick!

Where the hell do you get the carbon body cars? It says on the pic that's it's used. I still can't see where the hell these cars are at. And is that the correct price on that thing 122 million credits for one car?

Night and day from the controller to the steering wheel. That would be a good investment for the game. You can get it at amazon.com for $117 if you have the GT4 receipt you can get an extra $20 rebate. That was before I don't know if it's still available right now.

Oh ... the pics of those black cars weren't mine. I snatched those off the net (was too lazy to take pics of my own). The screen shot came from the *** version, so they're techincally in Yen.

Yes, the black cars are USED. You find them in the used car lot I and II starting on Day 694. They'll last a week. The next time you see them again is another 694 days later. There are a total of FOUR. Two of them cost ~1.3 Mill each, the other two run ~3 Mill per. Grand total is ~9 Mill for all four.

Sandman,
I've tried the game extensively with the Control Pad, GT3 wheel, and GT4 Wheel (the latest). First of all, the *older* GT3 wheel is JUNK! Pass it and don't collet two hundred! The control pad is fine and will certainly get the job done. The inputs are less refined than the wheel. It's more of a ON/OFF affair. You'll never achieve the smoothness the wheel experts can achieve. My prefer way to play GT4 is definitely using the new Logitech Driving Force Pro (GT4) wheel. The extra lock-to-lock (900*) made a world of difference over the old GT3 wheel. It offered ample resolution for mid corner steering correction; the result is reduced understeer and drift-ability. For the most part it is very easy to use. The only time the wheel could be a handfull is during a snap oversteer situation. Much like in real life ... if you are not ready for it and is not well train in the art of rapid counter steering ... you're gonna lose her on the quick.

I'd say go buy one at Best Buy, CompUSA, etc. Try it out ... if you don't like it. Return it!

Here are the settings I would recommend you use w. the new wheel:

Active Steering: OFF (this is junk! do not use)
Power Assis: ON
Feedback Strenth: Mild

Let us know how you like it!

Cheers,
