It's a Seis de Mayo GTG!

So, here's the plan. Everybody is busy and many might have missed Cinco de Mayo, even though most folks don't even know what the day actually means..so who cares if we're a day late! I was thinking we'd first hit Fairway car wash. So depending on interest, I will go down and talk with Abraham the owner to get us all a good deal.

Probably a hand wash, interior vac and vinyl/tire dressing for like $10. -or-
Hand Wash w/hand wax for ~$20

Fairway Car Wash (behind Arco at the Fairway/60 Exit) does a great job and is VERY careful with our rides.

We can shoot the **** while we hang out and wait for the rides to get the spa treatment. As folks come and go, we can then head over to Casa Alvarez in the Stater Bro's parking lot. Plenty of parking...no stressing and driveway friendly (especially on the Brea Canyon/Fairway side.. south east) Grab some grub and then decide what to do from there... maybe head up to Cue's for some out of car entertainment.

i pass by the fairway wash often but have never actually had them wash my car. i always see expensive benz and porsches there, and ed and ted once .

 

would love to join, but can't make it....darn..

welll.. not a lot of folks are showing interest.. so not sure i'll get a major discount. If we roll in together, (per the first post in this thread)

i can def get hand wash only for $11.. Hand wash & hand wax for 29.

You see, it takes numbers to get a discount - and looks like we won't have the numbers.

Let's see... I've got me and 3 maybes.

Unless I see a few more folks signing up, no use going thru all the effort of getting discounts and such.

Hey Ted...saw your car at SI a while ago when my car was still at the bodyshop....nice mods(i haven't seen before)....

people aren't showing much interest maybe cuz it's suppose to rain on Friday?
