So I did pretty well in Vegas this past week and I want to get something for the G. I was thinking either a BBK, some bolt-ons, or perhaps the Kenstyle kit. What do you guys think? My goal was to take 5 grand and put it towards an ATI procharger system but I fell short on this one hand in blackjack and that changed the momentum of things.

I bet 1K on this 1 hand... dealer dealt me a 12 vs. his 3 upcard. Normally I stay in this position but I took a card and hit to 19 with a 7. At this point, I'm thinking I'm going to go order an SC after this hand from the hotel lobby computers LMAO. Anyways, dealer flips the hole card, a 6. I'm like, oh great... he's gonna pull a face card and push with me. Instead, he pulls an ace and beats me.

So yeah, what next?

Are you crazy?!?! On a 12? If you get a 10 or face card, you bust and lose twice the amount.

Speaking of bust, the dealer made a funny. She was like, all the guys ask for a "bust" while the girls ask for a "big one" when they want me to go over 21. LMAO

Never.

I DD on every 11 hand, 10 unless dealer has ace or face, and when the count is high, I'll DD on 9 if dealer shows 8, etc.

I've been practicing card counting for 2 years now. Of course you can't master it with 6 decks in the shoe, but I'd say 70% of the time I stand on a 15 or 16 with a dealers 10/face upcard, I win.

The best is when the dealer shows an Ace upcard and asks for insurance... I usually know when the dealers got blackjack so I'm the only one taking it and the dealer usually flips the 10 after that. Everyone's angry but me lol.

Depends on the size of the bet. A $10 bet? No. A $100 bet? Yes (usually only on 15 or 16). I have before, but only the 21+ casinos seem to have the option. Weird.

 

Dude the only BJ i play is when im on the receiving end.

And zack, dont get the kenstyle, eveyone has it, if i were you i would get bolt on mods or save up for a SC or Turbo Kit.

Damm, I would crap my pants if I bet that much on one hand. $50-60 in positive ten count is about the most I will do cause I'll have a heart attack if I hafta split aces 4 times at $100 a pop.

I hope you get comped at top shelf place like Bellagio or Venetian if you are betting like that.

 

They gave me a free buffet (I was playing at the MGM). I was up $1500 so I decided, what the heck... it's Vegas. But with the $500 I was STILL up I turned into 2 grand. That is of course after 7 hours of nonstop playing at the same table LMAO.

 

7 hours at 100 average bet should get you comped RFB anywhere except Bellagio, venetian, etc.

Talk to the casino host if you are rated and play that long and the pit wont give it too you. The casino host will be all over your a** with play like that. Pit bosses can be real jerks sometimes.

Even $50 average bet over that period of time is worth something and will definitely get RFB at lesser places.
