Go watch BATMAN BEGINS
Wow!!!!
Now that was a damn good movie ... unlike any other comic derived flicks before it. Yes, even better than Batman 1 and 2, X-men, and perhaps even Superman ... etc.
Go watch and let me know what ya think.

from scale of 1 to 10:
Star Wars Eps. I-III = 4 at best
Batman = 10
Star Wars (Eps. I-III) wishes it has Batman Begin's stunning cinematography, witty dialogs, depth of the cast ... uhmmm pretty much everything!
Go watch it and share your thoughts!

I'm a huge IMAX fan ... but IMHO one should not watch a non-IMAX flim in a IMAX theater! Ugggh!
IMAX films were made and directed with the giant screen in mind. Large portions of the IMAX screen is deditcated to filling the viewer's peripheral vision, giving one the sense of 'being' there. The focal point of the scene is generally kept close to the center of the screen and well zoomed out, minimizing the wondering of the head and eye that leads to fatigue and sickness. Conventional films that are designed for the typical theater wide screen do not have such constraints in mind, so they typically offer tighter (zoomed) shots and routinely have actions that move from one side of the screen to the other end. Constant viewing of such a scene in an IMAX screen is extremely fatiguing. God forbbid you happen to catch one of the front row seats; you'd have a stiff neck by the end of the movie from having to keep your head up for 2+ hours.
If you must ... catch the seats as far back as possible. Some non-IMAX films are more tolerable than the others on an IMAX screen. YMMV.
Having said that, the sound system requirement for an IMAX theaters easily surpass any conventional theater. For that alone ... it's worth the admission to watch any IMAX-ready film.
Oh the answer to your question is ... 'NO, watched it in a standard screen that is THX-certified'.

DC comics is making a comeback. If they do the 2nd one, it better live upto this. the story line followed exactly what happened in the comic. great movie
that was pretty much the best BATMAN movie EVER!!!!
It was really fun watching the movie from 1st min. to last.....i just wished they used different female actress than Katie Holmes...but then again, I'd be nit-picking it.....
GO WATCH IT!!
