jobs?

Just wondering if anyone in the San Simas, West Covina, Walnut area knows of any temporary jobs or has a hook up for a job. I'm home for the summer and want to find a job. Thanks!

LoL..

I am 19.. Currently attending UCSD.. hence home for the summer and looking for a job. Work experience? Hm.. I've honestly had no actual working experience, but I spent a lot of time in high school volunteering. the other portion of my time went into helping out my church. I've gone from organizing events to filing papers.

Try Target, Walmart, Toys R Us.

All three of those in that area.

You will have trouble getting an office type job without experience unless you have a hookup.

Work for a while, even just a few months, and then apply for a job or internship within the field you are studying. The few months of work experience will do wonders.

BTW, with the exception of a very few fields, it helps a ton to already have a year or two experience by the time you graduate. It will be so much easier to get the job you want. You really should work through college, even if it is only 10-20 hours a week.

Go to local college campus' and look on their bulletin boards... you should find some openings... or sign up with a temp agency and let them find something for you. It shouldn’t be too hard to get leads - but it's up to you to land a job. Good luck.

if there is an opening you'll need a resume.. letter about yourself helps too although it is not required
