Thumbs up Annual 'Team Chill' Summer Beach Meet!

Beach+BBQ+Bikini+Basketball=BIG Meet!!

It's time to start organizing the second annual G35 Beach Meet! I'll call up the OC Parks tomorrow to aquire more info from the city. I'll work on a flyer for the meet or just recycle the one from last year.

Who: You, Me, He, She - We

Location: Salt Creek Beach Park in Laguna Niguel.
33333 S. Pacific Coast Hwy.
Dana Point, CA 92629

Big parking lot, lots of shade, plenty of seating area, public bathrooms, halfcourt B-Ball onsite, and beautiful view. I've been on site to evaluate the park half a dozen times and it seems to be the perfect spot.

Virtual Tour of Salt Creek Beach Park

Date: TBD - July 30th or August 6th.

Need: Food, Drink, Ice, CostCo Pizza hauler, sport equipments (football, frisbee, kite...), Snacks, Plates, Cups, Utensils and Charcol.

Volunteers Needed! Calling fellow G35 masterminds. Following job opportunity are open:
1) Master Cooks
2) Master Food Preparation Personnel
3) Meet Photographer to manage car line ups & group shots
4) Driving Direction Guide
5) Clean Up Crew
6) Coordinator
7) Web advertisers (to invite other forums and clubs in the family Z/FX/M)
8) Sponsors?

As usual, the meet will be family friendly and pet friendly. Bring your friends and family to chill out on a relaxed weekend. Please don't do burn outs, drag racing or attempt to Initial D in the parking lot or in the surrounding area.

I am open to any comments and suggestions. PLEASE do not recommend other locations for the meet. If you have a better idea for a meet location, please PM me directly and I'll drive down there to check it out in person.

Pending previous engagements, me and the wife unit will probably come out. I'll help man the grill with Clint (left side is yours, and all the veggies)

When you check with Wing, also see if his brother Wing is avail (ya, I know everybody's started calling him Jimmy now to cut the confusion.) He does all the shots at EA and the other shows.

Cheers, Ted
