Hi,
I have an 5AT and I'm really interested in swapping the stock 3.3 for the 6MT's 3.5 final drive for better pickup. I read that it's better to just to swap the entire pumpkin (rear end?) which encloses the final drive gears and the LSD.

Has anyone here performed the swap?
Where did you find the pumpkin (rear end?)? Was it local or out of state?
Approximately how much was the entire process?

do you have the one with sport package? if you do, I will swap my 6mt pumpkin with you.

 

You can find it at 350evo.com. Make sure that the LSD you use is for 6mt or it wont work

No, my coupe did not come with the sports package. I didn't think it was important at the time ( duh! )

Thanks for the advice. I want to just purchase the 6MT pumpkin with the OEM LSD. I'm looking for advice where to find it and how much it costs.
